Reflection on Communicative Tool
In an ever-changing digital generation, the integration of communicative tool in both personal and professional setting has become unavoidable. As a teacher trainee, while navigationg through the requiements of college coursework, classroom participation and collaborative learning, Telegram has been introduced as a influential communicative tool that not only bridges distances but also enhances a sense of belonging and professional growth.
Personally,Telegram is nore than a messaging app. It now feels like a virtual classroom, an organizer of my daily things to do and a personal and professional support system. Telegram's user-friendly interface, share multimedia files that too on its original quality, Conduct discussions and ability to created groups and channelshas invited me to stay linked with my friends and module tutors even iif there is physical distance. During the time of academic pressures, such as assignment due dates and and group works, the instant communication and notification feature of telegram helps in reducing academic anxiety by providing clarity and reassurance. Additionally, Telegram provided me with a sense of academic security and comfort.
From a professional point of view Telegram has made me understand how digital communication can be meaningfully integrated in teaching and learning. One most effective feature i have learned is the treation of learning groups. I witness how my tutors send assignment reminders, pre readings to complete beefore class and share additional learning resources. This aligns perfectly with the ideas of Pimmer et al. (2016), who stresses that mobile messaging apps like telegram fosters collaborative learning and engagement by providing us with real-time interaction in educational context.
As a teacher trainee, I use Telegram to share assignment ideas, extra notes and lessons ideas with my peers, reflecting on our classroom experience. The voice message feature proved especially useful when typing frlt inadequate exchanging certain information. Telegram supported asynchronous learning, which became essential when managing time between college and other shedules.This fosters Vygotsky's social constructivist theory, which stresses the significance of interaction in cognitive development(Vgotsky, 1978). Telegram provided that social interaction space, enabling knowledge construction through peer dialogue and tutor feedback.
Nonetheless, my experieance with the communivative tool which is Telegram has not always been smooth. There were times when the frequent incoming of messages became quite overwhelming, mainly when I was trying to balance multiple task at once. This particular challenge has made me realize the value of practicing digital self-discipline and learn to focus effectively even if there was multiple distractiong caused by the mutiple message notifications.
Nevertheless, I truely have faith that Telegram has an immense power in modern education, particularly in Bhutanese classrooms whare connectivity is efficiently becoming better to best.It's low-data usage compared to other communicative tools makes it accessible even in remote places, thereby fostering inclusive learning setting. Reflecting on it's role in my own journey, I feel empowered to utilize it not just as a communication app, but as a teaching tool to promote collaboration, resource sharing, and emotional support among students.
In conclusion, Telegram has changed my personal and professional progress as a future teacher. It has opened up avenues for innovation pedagogy, encouraged peer learning, and nurtures emotional resilience. As I move forward in my teaching career, I aspire to integrate this tool not just to teach, but to connect and care. That is because in teaching and learning, communication us not only about information but also about building relationships.
