As a teacher trainee, I have explored variety of ICT tools, and Google Docs tend to stand out as an efficient constructive tool that fosters active engagement when it comes to teaching and learning. Although I have not yet had the opportunity to experience using Google Docs wit actual students, my experience with Google Docs has helped me understand the value in an educational setting that this tool has. Google Docs allows users to create, edit and share documents through online. One of the most influential features of this tool is its real-time collaboration feature. While working in groups for assignments or also lesson plans with my peers, I found it very helpful that all the members could work on a single document and contribute at the same time, suggests things to edit and also leave comments.
